Mortimer Jones – Rescued January 23, 2014
This poor little little guy was due to be killed at the Lancaster shelter the morning we at Zooh Corner rescued him. He is seriously under weight, has a really nasty case of mange, messed up incisors and an abscess under his left eye. He was in pain from the mange and is on pain control meds, along with various other treatments. He is safe now and we will make sure he is healed outside–and in–and that he finds a wonderful and loving forever-home.
Thanks to the following people for making this happen:
- Jennie Masanz – for bringing the bun to my attention (he hadn’t even been listed on the website because they were going to put him down š )
- Christina Patz – for pulling the bunny from the shelter for us.
- Kimberly Butler (again!) – for driving all the way to Castaic to pick him up, then allll the way to Pasdena to drop him off at our awesome vets’ place, Exotic Animal Care Center
- Susan Shum – Our wonderful VP who agreed to take him into her home (if I would temporarily take WoolyWhoo)!
