Rabbits are not Easter Gifts
I know this goes without saying for a lot of you, but we have to keep getting this message out there. A live animal is never a good choice for a gift. All too often, the impulsive purchase of a rabbit for Easter ends with neglect and abuse. The recipient of the rabbit loses interest, or is unable or unwilling to commit to the required needs of a live animal.
Bringing a rabbit into your family should be a well-thought-out decision, where a commitment is made to the new family member. Not a whimsical gift to be enjoyed briefly and cast aside when no longer convenient.
Please read the attached flyer, and do your part to spread the message that rabbits are not Easter gifts.
