Zooh Corner has received a letter from Exotic Animal Veterinary Center telling us that we MUST pay off our account. (see the link) We have until September 11th.
The Good News
We currently receive a 15% discount off of all veterinary services. The awesome news is that we have been offered a permanent 25% discount, once our account is paid off, as incentive for paying off our bill! THIS IS HUGE. A really big deal, and something I have been working towards for quite some time. WE ARE SO EXCITED!

As many of you already know, Zooh Corner takes in elderly, disabled and special needs rabbits who have been abandoned by their humans when they most need their love and care. Working specifically with these special bunnies, while rewarding, is extremely expensive, as most of them come to us with massive medical needs, and 95% of them have chronic health issues requiring medications and frequent vet visits.**
In order to continue our much-needed work we must pay off our current veterinary bill and at the same time continue to cover our monthly medical costs (our monthly Double Donor fundraiser), plus pay current medical bills.
We are asking all of our friends, past, present, yet-to-be-made, to please consider making a generous donation today. We have until September 11th to pay off this bill entirely.
An average **intake** bill alone is generally between $1000.00 – $2500.00, but we’ve had them as high as $5000.00. And then there are the emergency bills. Parsnip Malone (our leading photo) is just one example of the kind of rabbits we take in. She was just six months old and both of her back legs were shattered, plus she was malnourished because she was unable to easily get to food and water. Her initial bills totaled well over $7000.00 – but look at her now!
