What is Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue?
Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill rabbit rescue. We rescue and help rabbits that have been found as strays, abandoned by owners, or left in shelters. All rabbits are given thorough medical examinations, and are treated as necessary to ensure they are as healthy and happy as possible. All rabbits are spayed/neutered, and are available for adoption when they are ready. Elderly and special needs rabbits that are unable to be adopted stay with Zooh Corner in our sanctuary, where they live out their lives with the comfort and love they deserve.
Where is Zooh Corner located?
We operate in the San Gabriel, CA area. Our network of volunteers and Foster Friends extend across Southern California, and we coordinate efforts with other rabbit rescues. We also partner with various veterinary hospitals, like Exotic Animal Care Center in Pasadena, CA.
How do you help rabbits?
Our mission is threefold:
- to rescue, treat, spay/neuter and place as house pets, rabbits that have been abused, neglected, injured or dumped;
- to educate the public on rabbit health care and needs;
- to stop the irresponsible breeding and selling of rabbits.
Rabbits that are rescued are given full medical attention and are treated as necessary. Our healthy, spayed/neutered rabbits are available for adoption. Those that are considered un-adoptable for varying reasons such as illness, age, past trauma, ongoing medical care; or perhaps they have been in foster care and not adopted for so long they are welcomed to the Zooh Corner Sanctuary.
How can I help?
Running a rabbit rescue is no small feat, and we always need your support. Along with volunteering, fostering, and donating, you can help us by making purchases with various supporting vendors.
