Bartok – Rescued Dec 13, 2011

028Bartok was abandoned at a pet store, in a cardboard box, with a broken back and a horrible case of urine scald. Thanks to Laura Dunklee, he is now healthy and happy.

Because of his broken back, he is a special needs bunny, as he gets his bladder expressed three times a day, and does some physical therapy, which he likes! He has his own bunny cart to help him get around.

Because of his special needs, he was slated to be a permanent ward of the Zooh Corner Sanctuary.  However, he was adopted in July 2013 by Kristen Woodbury as a pal for Bunny, her disabled bun.

It turned out that tiny Bartok was instead bonded to a big, gorgeous rexy named Miss Pancake, a therapy bunny in training.  She is about thrice his size, and they are madly in love!  Congratulations to Bartok and Miss Pancake, and thank you Kristin!
