MOnocle – Rescued Feb 15, 2014
MOnocle (not a typo!) was rescued from the East Valley shelter on February 15, 2014. He was on the BLUE ALERT list (with Cali). He had wounds on his hip and paws, a mild mite infestation, and needed to be neutered. Despite all this, he was otherwise happy and healthy. Check out his photo gallery! […]
Silas Bun-bun MonkeyCheeks – Rescued May 15, 2014
Meet Silas Bun-Bun MonkeyCheeks: “I was found by a very kind couple a little over a year ago. They were not supposed to have a bunny. They kept me outside for a while, but it was getting hot, so they contacted Zooh Corner and asked them if they would take me in. Cat explained explained […]
Theodore Rabbit – Rescued Feb 14, 2014
This little guy was rescued from the Lancaster shelter. As you can see, he was in rough shape. He had ear mites and multiple wounds on his body, presumably from fighting with other rabbits. The worst injuries were to his testicles and anus. They were going to kill him, as they tend to do with […]
Mortimer Jones – Rescued Jan 23, 2014
This poor little little guy was due to be killed at the Lancaster shelter the morning we at Zooh Corner rescued him. He was seriously under weight, had a really nasty case of mange, messed up incisors and an abscess under his left eye. He was in a lot of pain from the mange. He he happy […]
WoolyWhoo – Rescued Jan 3, 2014
WoolyWhoo was brought to the Downey shelter, supposedly a stray. She had a bad case of mites, infection in both of her eyes, and was about two pounds underweight (she only weighs 2.5 lbs). We are not sure of her age, thinking 2-3 years. The mites were deep in her ear canals, as well as […]
Ollie-san – Rescued Dec 5, 2013
OllieSan had a loving family, but one of them passed away and he was given up. He eventually made it to Zooh Corner where he was found to be a smart, social, and affectionate little guy. With a bit of coaxing, he and WoolyWhoo were bonded. These two fabulous lovebirds were happily adopted on March […]
Gypsy – Rescued Oct 25, 2013
This little girl was bought as snake food but the snakes–yes, there were two–did not eat her. Because of three Zooh Corner volunteers, George (Dhanjot), Kate and Keith, she was safely delivered to Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue. She understandably took some time to come out of her shell, but when she did, she was well […]
Mocha Mohawk – Rescued Oct 13, 2013
Imagine being in a tiny hutch in a garage where extreme temperatures and darkness were your only companions – aside from the pesticides, antifreeze, and other junk piled on and around your cage. Mocha Mohawk endured these horrific conditions for years, with only wire flooring to stand on, and no hay, no toys, no hidey box, […]
Bartok – Rescued Dec 13, 2011
Bartok was abandoned at a pet store, in a cardboard box, with a broken back and a horrible case of urine scald. Thanks to Laura Dunklee, he is now healthy and happy. Because of his broken back, he is a special needs bunny, as he gets his bladder expressed three times a day, and does […]
