Help Save Zooh Corner’s Veterinary Discount

We have created a GoFundMe campaign to help pay down our vet bill, and maintain the generous discount provided by Exotic Animal Veterinary Center.

Many of you will remember Eliot The Conspicuously Brilliant, a very sweet, very sick bunny we rescued from a local shelter. We did everything we could to save this silly, smart, happy boy. He was hospitalized several times, for many days at a time. He tried SO hard to live. Just when we thought we were going to lose him, he would rally and begin eating, pooping, playing with his toys. He absolutely refused to give up, and so did we. Until we all knew he could fight no longer.

This is one of the saddest cases I have worked with. It is even hard to write about. Eliot loved his new life. He loved hay and toys and tunnels and bananas and freedom. And he loved his Sanctuary Mama. He wanted to live. It is also one of the most expensive cases we have had. But he refused to give up, so how could we?

WE CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE OUR 25% DISCOUNT!
Eliot’s bill (4 pages long and available upon request) came to a total of $14,746.34. YIKES. But because we have our 25% discount, as seen below, the end amount we owed was $11, 330.03. That 25% discount saved us $3,418.122. THAT IS A HUGE SAVINGS!

We’ve had quite a few huge ER vet bills since that time (Tonka Da Truck, Burlesque Billie Rose, Shades, Woolly Whoooo – to name a few). Thanks to that 25% discount, and our amazing supporters, we have been able to pay them all.

Our current balance now stands at $10,694.92. We have to pay this down by 30 April 2023 or we will lose our 25% discount. We just cannot afford for that to happen.

ONCE AGAIN WE NEED THE HELP OF BUNNY LOVERS EVERYWHERE
Please help us pay down our vet bill. if we lose our discount our bills will go up by 25%. That is a huge and unsustainable increase.
