Rabbi – Rescued February 20, 2014

Rabbi is a nine-year old, un-spayed lady and she was abandoned at the Baldwin Park shelter by her one-time owner. Poor baby.

Thanks to the wonderful Laura Payne, who agreed to foster another Zooh bunny, Zooh Corner was able to come to Rabbi’s rescue. So, our heroic bunny taxi-er, Dyan Guarrera picked her up and brought her to our vet, Exotic Animal Care Center, where she was examined by Dr Tiffany, who said other than some mild dental issues, she appears to be very healthy! And we both agree that she is more likely to be around the age of 7, but it is hard to know for sure.

The best part? She already has a home and she will be flown to her new parents, Lisa Daloia and Russ Greco, in April (thank you Dyan!!! ♥ ). HOOOOOORAYYY!!

This is all fantastic, but it is not free. X-rays, overnight boarding, dental issues, spay, feeding, travel–they all cost money. And we have spent several thousand, over the last two months, on rescued medical needs bunnies, current fosters and Sanctuary Rabbits.
