Rescued Rabbits Need Help

Our rescued rabbits typically need ongoing care, and we’ve recently had a series of exceptional cases. Here are some recent developments where your support can help.

Li’l T

Li’l T was rescued earlier this summer from a tiny, inverted bird cage. He was subsisting on pellets and bird seed, and had some pretty bad muscle atrophy.

While helping him to recover, he had developed a really horrible abscess in his inner ear, as well as dental issues. These have already caused some muscle paralysis in his face.

Although he is doing a lot better, his vet bill was large, as he nearly died. There is more work to be done in order to fully resolve his situation.

Rufus Poofus Poofington

Rufus Poofus Poofington The Most Magnificent is a long time Zooh Corner resident and Sanctuary Rabbit, who came to Zooh Corner in 2009. He was dropped by a hawk and was paralyzed from the waist down. He is a permanent member of the Zooh Corner Sanctuary, where he is joined by Daisy Ducktoes, his bondmate.

He recently had a nasty urinary tract infection and is recovering, but also needs ongoing care and physical therapy.

Please help us keep him healthy and happy as a loved member of the Zooh Corner Sanctuary.

Tuxedo

This adorable, crooked little old man has lots of issues.  When he arrived in June he was underweight and malnourished, with cysts, scoliosis, and arthritis.  We love our Tuxedo anyway. He is a Sanctuary Rabbit and we need your help with his ongoing care.
