Support Alexander Small’s Recovery

12376512_10208023688855225_1524615606238605403_nAlexander Small, one of the longest resident Sanctuary Rabbits at, is sick.  On December 10, we took him to the vet.   He has been having breathing problems, with excessive mucous buildup.  On top of that, he has been starting to have gastrointestinal issues.  After spending many hours at Exotic Animal Care Center, where we started him on nebulization, oxygen chamber treatment, as well as typical GI response, we took a culture of his mucous to learn more about the cause.

Slowly, his breathing is improving.  There is a lot of mucous but at least it is draining thanks to the nubulization treatment.  We’re still awaiting culture results.

He’s such a good boy, Mr. Small. When we nebulize him, he sits directly in front of the mist the entire time he is in the box (about 15-20 minutes).

PLEASE: Consider making a donation to help out with our vet bills! The first one was $685 and yesterday’s was $417. We have raised $265 towards this. We have to get them paid by the end of the week. ALL donations make us BINKY!
