Updates – Rufus Poofus Poofington

Rufus has been showing high spirits and some signs of improvement.  He’s eating on his own, and graciously accepting pets.  He even kisses back!

Just recently, he peed a stone right out of his ureter, into his bladder, and right out of his body!  This is fabulous news!

His urine specific gravity has already improved, his blood work is still improving, and we could not be happier!

His kidney blood values are still at the high end but we expect to see a significant change in that by this weekend or next week. He still does have one kidney that is 80% non functional, but we will take this improvement!
