Whole Foods Rabbit Meat Images

Iowa rabbit farmThe Rabbit Advocacy Network has recently posted images of the rabbits that are farmed and supplied to Iowa Rabbit, the bunny killing factory that slaughters rabbits for Whole Foods.

From their post::

Whole Foods Market has justified their introduction of a new animal–rabbit meat–to their meat cases by telling the public that they have been responding to customer demand (although the company’s own sales numbers show that there is no such demand), and by touting the “humane” standards that they have created for the rabbits they kill, to be implemented by their corporate partner, Iowa Rabbit, Inc.

Whole Foods says that ‪values matter‬ and that they have very special, humane high standards for the bunnies raised for them.  Does this look HUMANE? A quote from Whole Foods Market standards for raising rabbits:

“Take into account the fact that rabbits socialize in groups. While most rabbits raised for meat are kept in cages, we require group pens on solid floors with plenty of dry bedding, additional places to hide and climb, and room to forage, groom, hop, socialize and play.”

DO THE PHOTOS MATCH THE ABOVE STANDARDS???

Every bunny person needs to go in to their local stores with these photos and DEMAND that they stop selling bunny meat! Tell them you will not shop their again until they stop selling rabbit meat. They supposedly care about their *customers*

WE ARE ALL THESE BUNNIES HAVE!!!

SHARE everywhere. Share on any Whole Foods pages that you can!
