WoolyWhoo – Rescued Jan 3, 2014

WoolyWhoo was brought to the Downey shelter, supposedly a stray. She had a bad case of mites, infection in both of her eyes, and was about two pounds underweight (she only weighs 2.5 lbs). We are not sure of her age, thinking 2-3 years. The mites were deep in her ear canals, as well as on her head, neck, jaw, eyes and creeping down her back.

She was treated and is now doing very well, thanks to Zooh Corner! She was also on Metacam (for pain and inflammation) and eye meds and antibiotics for infected skin and ears.

WoolyWhoo and Ollie-San were adopted on March 31, 2014 as a bonded pair!
